This port replicator provides desktop convenience with full port replication in a space saving design. You can connect monitor, keyboard, mouse and other external devices such as the external MultiBay for ultimate convenience. Hot docking/undocking supported under Microsoft Windows 2000, Microsoft Windows XP Professional and Microsoft Windows 98 SE. The port replicator incorporates NIC pass through so the network card of the notebook provides full networking capabilities. The main/primary notebook battery can be charged when connected to the port replicator if the AC Adapter (provided with the port replicator) is connected to a power source. The port replicator includes a security slot that incorporates two levels of security. One slot allows the port replicator to be secured to a stationary object.
