This dual-band (2.4GHz, 5GHz), tri-mode (802.11a, b, g) Access Point provides the most bandwidth coverage available in an AP. Multiple wireless clients can connect to the DWL-7100AP using both A and G wireless standards and any of its 11 non-overlapping channels to transfer data at speeds of up to 108 Mbps. The DWL-7100AP operates seamlessly and simultaneously in both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency and over multi-mode spectrums. Use the DWL-7100AP as a bridge connecting with 802.11a wireless standard and while still providing Access Point functionality with 802.11b and 802.11g. Network Administrators can easily integrate various wireless managements with the DWL-7100AP Wireless Distribution System (WDS), offering modes in AP, Point-to-Point Bridge, Point-to-Multipoint Bridges, AP Client, and Repeater, allowing users to gain controls beyond a sole AP. The DWL-7100AP is ideal for network administrators who require advanced management controls and network security features. The DWL-7100AP offers 152-bit WEP encryption. In addition, the DWL-7100AP incorporates WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access), which has both certificate ticket verification and AES (Advanced Encryption Security) protocols available. All configuration settings are easily accessible via the Web-based interface. The Setup Wizard gets you connected to your network within minutes. With transfer rates of up to 108Mbps in both 2.4GHz and 5 GHz bands, large bandwidth-intense files travel remotely over 15 times the transfer speeds of previous wireless devices. The tri-mode allows data transfer without the interference with other devices at one fixed wireless standard.
