After months of waiting, the NB-1C, is finally ready. By CNC machined from a single forged high purity copper block, NB-1C inherently possesses the highest thermal conductivity values in current chipset coolers. This not only enables NB-1C with larger internal passage for thermal energy to travel from chipset to fin, it also gives NB-1C an improved thermal dissipating rate. This production method is very time consuming and costly, however, the improved performance has met the company R&D engineer's expectations. Wing spreading stepped fin design, aerodynamic HSF base, fin cutting techniques, more adaptive mounting clips, and the same simple fan wire clips from NB-1. NB-1C is an essential building block for any air-cooled over clocking system. Internal tests show NB-1C even has sufficient cooling power to tame today's powerful GPUs.
