The Data Express DE300 was created to provide a reliable and versatile removable drive carrier and receiving frame for supporting up to three low-profile SCSI devices within one full-height peripheral bay. Constructed of solid steel and designed with excellent front to back airflow, it can provide the heat dissipation required for today's high-performance drives. The DE300 is available with 16-bit single-ended or LVD Wide SCSI connections, including an Ultra160 68-pin cable-less model which provides enhanced signal quality, ease of installation and eliminates the chance of cable damage due to mishandling. The DE300 is unique within the Data Express family of removable frames and carriers as it provides a space-efficient method of supporting up to three SCSI drives within a single 5.25 inch full-height peripheral bay.
