The DIGIMAX A503 provides convenient function and setting buttons that can be used simply and easily with just one hand. In addition, this small pocket sized body enables you to grip the digital camera firmly. Thus, you can operate camera buttons in any situation without difficulty. By enabling button operation for shooting modes and frequently used functions, the DIGIMAX A503 is designed to ensure a seamless operation of the camera. In addition, its enhanced graphic user interface brings you visual satisfaction and convenience. The DIGIMAX A503 incorporates special effects, doubling your shooting pleasure. Now, you can use the E button to access special effect functions such as color effect, highlight, composite shot and photo frame with no trouble at all. Through 6 different color effects and individual adjustment of RGB, you can produce delicate image expressions. The highlight function enables you to blur the surroundings of the subject emphasized. You can highlight a rectangular shape, one person or two persons as desired. The composite shot function allows you to take a picture progressively by dividing it into multiple segments. The DIGIMAX A503 provides macro shooting up to 20 cm. Using its macro shooting capability, you can create a vivid and clear image even for a small subject in along range. The distance dial located around the lens enables you to easily choose between zoom and macro shots, providing added convenience. The DIGIMAX A503 supports the high-compression MJPEG format for enhanced video capability. It also lets you shoot a movie clip in VGA at 24 fps and play it on your TV without any degradation of image quality. You can choose the number of frames between 24 and 15 fps as desired. When a 512 MB memory card is used, up to 42 minutes of video recording is allowed. The DIGIMAX A503 incorporates some movie editing functions usually found only in a computer and the successive recording function developed through Samsung's own technology enables you to pause during unwanted scenes and resume recording of the movie later.
