A recertification is required when your Overland Product falls out of entitlement, and before you renew your service agreement. Once the product passes an inspection, it will be certified and placed under a purchased service agreement.Recertification requires an inspection of your product to ensure that it is functioning to product specification. Your product may be shipped to Overland Storage for this service, or an Overland Authorized Service Provider will perform the inspection on site. Each type of inspection has associated non-refundable fees. This inspection does not include any repair, configuration or optimization of the Product which may be required in order to complete the recertification. If additional services are necessary for the Product to be certified, they will be negotiated directly with the attending Service Provider. The Recertification Fee will be credited towards final repair bill that is issued by the Service Provider.
