The EU-S10C USB 2.0 Hard Disk Enclosure offers a simple and secure single interface solution for transferring and storing critical data. With key controlled, real-time encryption, secure data transfer doesn't have to be slow. The EU-S10C takes full advantage of the 480Mbps data transfer speed offered by USB 2.0 and of real-time encrypting data as it is transferred, meaning no performance drop or idle time for data encryption. Stable "hardware security" offers the most reliable protection against theft or data piracy by requiring a secure key to decrypt data stored on the hard drive; an absolute must for professionals sharing data between multiple computers in different locations. The optional Y-cable makes AC adapters a thing of the past by providing USB bus power when connected to a suitably equipped host.
