Dual-lens optics and with dual-platen scanning surfaces make this high-resolution scanner a production workhorse. The 36-bit ArtixScan 2500 scans originals as small as 35mm slides to reflective artwork up to 8" x 14". The AS2500 is versatile enough to scan A4 originals at up to 1250 dpi optical resolution or other film or reflective art at optical resolutions up to 2500 dpi in a 4" wide band running the length of both scanbeds. Included with this scanner are glass-free transparency holders to ensure that only the original image is captured and not the unwelcome artifacts introduced by glass. The ArtixScan 2500 offers an impressive range of scanning possibilities for graphic artists and pre-press professionals. Achieve crisp, accurate reproductions with density detection to 3.4D and high optical resolutions.
