Windows, UNIX, Linux, NetWare and Mac OS users easily share stored data on the MaxAttach NAS 4100, and it is the first NAS server to support Microsoft Active Directory Services (ADS) and Novell Network Directory Services (NDS). MaxAttach stores up to 320 GB in a 1U-high rack-mount enclosure. And MaxAttach file servers cost only about one-third as much as general-purpose servers - with no client license required. In fact, their cost is similar to much slower tape-based storage solutions. Yet MaxAttach includes all the features you need for high availability and flexible connectivity: RAID 5 data protection, dual 10/100 Ethernet ports, gigabit Ethernet (320GB), a SCSI port for local tape, and much more.
