Since the series' inception, the Pro Evolution Soccer series has been lauded for its utter realism, building a huge fan base within football fans, gamers and journalists alike. Pro Evolution Soccer 3 enjoys 80% more moves than its predecessor, while a new specially written graphics engine gives the game a higher level of detail. Players now enjoy facial animations, visible injuries, while the weather effects, crowds and off the ball moves have all been radically enhanced. Similarly, not content with ensuring its players look like their real-life counterparts, the development team have made sure they move like them, too. Players are instantly recognizable via trademark kicks and moves, and even have different runs and abilities depending on who they are. The icing on the cake is then provided by the little touches that elevate Pro Evolution Soccer 3 above its rivals.
