LANrepeaters are small, table-top or wall-mountable repeater units (LANrepeater/8 is optionally rackmountable) and feature 2, 4 or 8 slots for installing PIMs in any combination. LANrepeater/r repeaters are rackmountable and feature 2, 4, 6 or 8 slots for installing PIMs in any combination. LANrepeater/4x and LANrepeater/8x feature the capability to be configured with multiple collision domains in a single chassis eliminating the need for multiple repeaters.
