IBM DLT Tape Autoloader provides large storage capacity - 35GB per cartridge capacity (70GB assuming 2: 1 hardware compression). It includes a removable 6-cartridge magazine (plus 2 fixed slots) thus providing up to 560GB data storage capacity for mid-range to enterprise class servers. Magazine snaps into place and cartridges snap into place so it is impossible to load incorrectly. Front-panel LCD display and operator control panel provide ease of use. The unit contains support for a wide variety of backup/restore software.
