HighPoint's RocketMate 1000 is an external hard disk drive enclosure designed to work in conjunction with e.SATA capable RocketRAID host adapters. The RocketMate 1000 is compatible with RAID and non-RAID disk configurations, and supports Hot-Swap. With the RocketMate 1000, users' can safely hot-swap a failed hard disk drive with a fresh hard disk, then recover and rebuild the damaged RAID array - all without powering down the computer, or interrupting the computer's operations.
