Extensis Suitcase Server is the smartest way to share fonts across the room or around the world. Automatic synchronization makes it easy for entire workgroups to access the same sets of fonts, graphics and other files for streamlined workflow solutions. Workgroup members can control which fonts are downloaded or subscribed to so they get only the fonts they need, when they need them. Suitcase Server includes your first five Suitcase clients to get you started right. The Suitcase client can access Suitcase Server either through the local network or across the Internet. To expand the workgroup, simply purchase and install Suitcase on additional computers. Suitcase Server synchronizes fonts for both Mac OS and Windows users. Suitcase users can view the font sets available on the Suitcase Server and then subscribe to only the fonts they need. This reduces network traffic and frees up hard disk space on local computers. Automatically create Suitcase Server font sets based on the folders that contain fonts and files. Fonts are stored in Job folders, making it easier to find and distribute fonts in logical predefined folders. Suitcase Server provides administrators with a perfect tool to manage fonts with a minimum of disruption. Fonts and other files can be distributed automatically at configured intervals. Remote design groups can synchronize fonts through their Internet connection, then disconnect and keep working. Fonts aren't opened across the network, so designers are secure from server or network disruptions. Better yet, Suitcase Server reduces network activity for increased stability. Suitcase Server can do more than synchronize fonts - it can also distribute graphics and files such as logos and photos.
