PhotoPC 500 comes with everything you need to quickly load your photos into the computer and then transform them into great-looking pictures to place in your documents. With your handy, versatile camera you can add color and visual appeal to your newsletters, flyers, and brochures; use your pictures in slide show presentations. Also you can make photo calendars and greeting cards for work and for play. Then you can use the optional Epson PhotoPix LCD monitor to display images you have captured. You can increase the camera's storage capacity by installing a 2MB or 4MB PhotoSpan memory module. Epson PhotoPC 500 offers users a quick and easy way to add the impact of real life pictures to their letters, reports, proposals, invitations, presentations and much more. PhotoPC images can even be transmitted over the Internet. Whatever the specific use, PhotoPC's high quality images make everything printed or displayed look better. The Epson ColorTrue advanced in-camera processing system applies sophisticated image enhancement algorithms to the captured image for more accurate colors, improved color saturation, and sharper color contrast. Additionally, ColorTrue ensures that users will see the same brilliant images on paper that they see on screen. Unlike other digital cameras, which store images in a proprietary file format, PhotoPC 500 stores its images as standard JPEG files (one of the de facto imaging file standards on the Internet).
