Based on a high speed MIPS R5000 processor, the Epson RIP Station 5100 supports EFI's next generation open workflow color management system - ColorWise. A platform independent, server based system, ColorWise opens the color architecture to allow support of any ICC profile, regardless of printing application. ColorWise incorporates ColorWise Pro Tools, which includes 3 major features for robust color control: Color Editor for fine tuning of existing simulations; Profile Manager for managing and editing profiled downloaded to the Epson RIP Station 5100; Calibrator for use with the optional Epson Color Calibrator to ensure highly accurate, reliable, consistent color to be achieved.
