Combining Epson's expertise in color acquisition and printing technology, the Epson AcuLaser Color Station 8600, provides networks with outstanding A3 printing, scanning and copying capabilities in an integrated, centralized unit. Based on the Epson AcuLaser C8600 laser printer and Epson GT-10000+ scanner, with additional color copy module, the Epson AcuLaser Color Station 8600 offers quality and flexibility with exceptional ease of use and value for money. The Epson AcuLaser Color Station 8600 offers an effective resolution of 2400dpi for high-quality professional documents, presentations, business cards, newsletters and a range of other black, color or photo applications up to A3W size. Maximum quality is achieved by a range of exclusive Epson AcuLaser technologies. EPSON AcuLaser Fine Dot Control technology ensures smooth gradations by controlling the size and position of each dot on the page. Epson AcuLaser Color-RITech eliminates dotted or jagged edges and ensures finely detailed areas alive with clear, crisp tones. Epson Intelligent Line Screening can differentiate between photos, text and lines on a page and automatically alter the Line Screening and Color Correction for each area. Epson AcuLaser Adaptive Data Compression enables the printer to use memory more efficiently and to process images faster, through optimum data compression. Epson AcuLaser PhotoEnhance 4 improves the appearance of low-resolution images. The high-speed 10/100BaseT network interface ensures rapid transfer of data and ensures compatibility with wide range of TCP/IP, NetBEUI and AppleTalk based networks. Epson network administration tools enable remote configuration and monitoring. Network performance can be further enhanced with the optional 6GB Hard Disk Drive (HHD) and RIP Once Technology. Thus data only needs to be sent to the printer once, where it is stored in the HDD and further copies can be produced locally. Further advanced functionalities include job reprint, job verification, job storage and confidential job printing. A 1.400 sheet paper capacity ensures the maximum length of time between fill-ups, and three different media types can be accessed from three different sources, enabling a variety of jobs to be managed remotely, without visiting the printer to change paper.
