Finally, a modem that delivers fantastically easy broadband Internet access: Eicon's Diva 2430 SE (Second Edition) ADSL Modem. Just connect and surf! Configuration is automatically performed upon connection to an ADSL line, dramatically reducing deployment and support costs for service providers while facilitating end-user installation. Eicon offers the first ADSL solution with both PPPoE and PPPoA clients built-in. No additional software is required to establish an Internet connection. Software installation issues and related support calls are eliminated. Establishing an Internet connection is simplified to providing a user name and password. The Diva 2430 SE can connect to a single PC or notebook via its USB or Ethernet ports. Connect the Diva 2430 SE to an IP Router to give high-speed Internet access to a local workgroup. Telecommuters will enjoy the flexibility and simplicity of being able to plug in via either port. VPN is supported, enabling secure corporate network connections over the Internet. An optional micro-filter telephone port can accommodate a fax or telephone while preserving line quality. The Diva 2430 SE is a flexible, versatile, easy-to-use Internet access device, offering G.Lite and Full-Rate ADSL access.
