Compaq Secure Path is multi-path, high-availability software that manages and maintains continuous data access to Compaq storage systems enabling no single point-of-failure from server to storage. Multiple path failover capability and redundant components architecture eliminate single points-of-failure from server to storage in a clustered or single server configuration. Secure Path when used in conjunction with Fiber Channel controllers provides redundant paths for continuous 24x7 data access. Redundant physical connections define separate physical "paths" in a Secure Path hardware configuration.
