The Compaq 12X/8X/32X CD-RW Optical Drive is the complete solution for the corporate customer who wants to archive permanent data files on CD-R media, transfer presentations via CD-R or CD-RW media, and update frequently used data via CD-RW media. The 12X/8X/32X CD-RW is equipped with CD-R media, High Speed CD-RW media, and the award-winning Roxio Direct CD and EasyCD Creator software. The 12/8X/32X CD-RW uses High Speed media for standard 650-MB CD-RW disks. The Roxio Direct-CD software and CD-RW media in the 12X/8X/32X CD-RW drive combine to provide drag-and-drop functionality that simplifies a business customer's routine storage needs - it's as easy as using a floppy. This combination also produces a handy Wizard that instructs the user in "burning" data into this media type. The 12/8X/32X CD-RW drive solution comes with everything a customer needs to perform typical storage operations.
