Just like mobile messaging, SMS messages can be sent and received over the fixed network if the network operator supports this service. The handset features a programmable softkey and a three-line display which shows the call duration and the caller's name if stored in the phonebook. The Eurit 525 offers 10 different ringing tones for the base station and handset. And the ringing tone can be turned off by the function "Do Not Disturb" button if you need some peace and quiet. The intelligent Foxkey for user-friendly menu guidance, integrated help function in four languages, time and date display and a conferencing option complete the phone's integrated multi-user functionality.
