The 3ware RDC-400-SATA Drive Cage expansion bay is designed specifically for applications requiring a high-performance serial or parallel ATA drive interface. It accommodates four 3.5-inch drive trays, all within the space of three 5.25-inch height drive bays. Their built-in backplane provides improved reliability and accommodates power and drive signal distribution. The 3ware Drive Cage expansion bay is ideal for installation in servers, industrial PCs, and rack-mountable systems as well as anywhere drive capacity exceeds drive bay availability. The 3ware RDC-400-SATA Drive Cage is equipped with fans that provide the drives an appropriately cooled environment.
