After an installation that takes just minutes, users can begin to access network resources, the Internet, and e-mail - all at 11 Mbps Ethernet-standard speeds from distances of up to 100 meters (328 feet). Built-in performance and reliability features automatically select the best channel and connection speed so connections stay clear and open. The access point also employs 40/64- and 128-bit WEP encryption security to protect data on the wireless LAN.
