This ultra-high-speed switch is ideal for network configurations that call for affordable Gigabit Ethernet performance, but don't need sophisticated management capabilities. Each of the eight nonblocking 10/100/1000 ports automatically adjusts to the speed of network devices communicating at 1000, 100, or 10 Mbps, so the switch can accommodate a range of workgroup environments and legacy equipment types. The switch comes preconfigured for fast and easy installation using economical copper wiring. Advanced features such as IEEE 802.1 traffic prioritization (two priority queues) and Automatic MDI/MDIX cable detection, along with a highly durable design, make it a real networking value.
